My Summary

My Experience

I am a hard-working and confident individual who can learn new skills quickly. I work well as part of a team and on my own. I work well under pressure and can work to targets set for me or targets I set for myself. While working in my previous employment I have learned record keeping skills through writing care plans, medication sheets and accident reports for the children who were under my care. I also helped to keep track of inventory to ensure that there was enough stock to get us through the week ahead, for example nappies and medication. I also helped ensure there was enough food for the children to have snacks and plenty of fluids. Part of my duties were also to maintain good housekeeping within the building and its outdoor areas. Examples of this are ensuring toys are cleaned as well as other items handled by staff, including dishes, and items handled by the children, such as toy shelves and mirrors. The purpose of this was to ensure infection risks were minimized. If anything in or around the building needed repair, I would highlight this to my manager and ensure it was documented. It was necessary to do this because of health and safety regulations. Regardless of who I am employed with health and safety regulations, fire safety regulations and other regulations and laws are relevant for all staff in all positions.

My Qualifications

I have been a qualified childcare practitioner since 2021, and have been assisting family since 2018 with my nieces and nephews. I have a SCQF Level 7 in Social Services (Children and Young People)

My Availability

I am currently a student within West College Scotland’s Paisley Campus. The days I am in college are Tuesdays, Wednesday afternoons, and Thursdays. I would be available Wednesday morning before 12pm, and Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour

My fees would be a minimum of 15-18 per hour, however i am happy to discuss with parents and guardians on a compromise as I understand different families will have different situations.
