About Me
I am a 31 year old from Exeter. I am soon to be moving to Newtown. I am looking for 2-4 days a week of work to go alongside running my new health coaching business. I have spent the last 5/6 years running a green cleaning business. I love spending time with children - I am a fun loving, kind, creative, trustworthy person. My partner has a 5 year old boy who I spend a lot of time with. I am a good all round helper for the kids or around the house. I would be happy to do school runs, cleaning, cooking, playing, arts and crafts, pet care, activities, light gardening etc. I also have a really good understanding of ADHD and Autism. I drive a huge impractical van but am currently looking to buy a car asap! I have DBS certificates from past jobs but for working with adults so would be happy to renew.
My Experience
I have several years experience as a support worker and carer. I worked for St Loyes Foundation (now called Step One) supporting young adults with disabilities. I also spent a summer helping out at Ceda including the summer children's clubs. I have had a couple of private care jobs (working self employed) over the years - one helping a lady who had both a brain and spinal cord injury and another was a part-time live in job caring for a 100 year old lady with dementia. I also worked as a self employed support worker for a young lady with downs syndrome and autism for several years. Hopefully this work experience (albeit mostly with adults) plus the experience with my partners son, shows I am a caring people person who likes helping out with all ages. I work really hard and have a lot of energy and like to do a good job. I would be happy to get a new DBS check done. As seen above I also have 6 years experience as an eco friendly domestic cleaner.
My Qualifications
L2 Diploma in Health and Social care (adults)
CNM Health Coach Diploma
A Levels - Photography, Film Studies, World Development
GCSEs - Maths, English, English Lit, RE, Science, Additional science, Geography, French, Art and Design, PE
My Availability
Ideally 2-4 days a week and no weekends or evenings. I would like to leave a day or 2 spare for my health coaching.
