About Me
I'm a caring, patient, active person that loves working with children. I am a mum to a 5-year-old girl and have been caring for children for over 13 years as a babysitter and au pair.
I'm dedicated to the healthy development of children and encourage this through a variety of activities including reading, outdoor play, arts and crafts and teaching them self-care and social skills. I have excellent communication skills which have always enabled me to build strong, trusting relationships with parents.
I also love languages, having studied French, Spanish and Mandarin and recently learning basic sign language and Portuguese so am more than happy to help introduce your children to languages too or assist with language homework.
I'm available for work as a part-time nanny. I have a full UK driver's licence and own a car.
My Experience
I have a Safeguarding Children Level 2 certificate and Paediatric First Aid Training. I also have 9 years of experience babysitting and working as a live in au pair.
My work abroad as an au pair has given me first-hand experience of having to adapt to different cultures and strengthened my communication skills. I also have experience providing home learning activities and teaching children a second language.
I have lots of newborn and toddler experience so am more than capable of helping with feeding, changing and bathing little ones.
