***Looking for an ad-hoc babysitter!***
We are based in Crick and moved here in August 23, when we discovered we were expecting our son, Ewan. We are both working professionals, where I am a researcher in the emergency services and my partner works in the private sector. I mainly work from home with occasional travel, and my partner mainly works in London and travels abroad alot for work.
We have two maincoons and a cocker spaniel. We are strict on no pets being left with Ewan unattended.
Ewan is on baby led weaning and as a result he is very good with his food-he essentially eats everything (but that could change of course!). He’s always been a great sleeper, sleeping from 7-6 from a couple of months old. During maternity leave he went to baby sensory, baby massage, baby yoga and active bears. On a Tuesday he now goes to a baby swimming class. Wednesday to Friday he is at nursery from 8-1800.
We do not believe in the crying it out method and are adopting gentle parenting. Manners are very important to us and we want to ensure that Ewan grows up to be a well-rounded man. As he gets older we will be encouraging manners and having him conducting age-appropriate chores. We like spending our weekends in our garden or out and about making memories with him.
My Requirements
We are looking for an ad-hoc babysitter for childfree events and occasions where Ewan’s can’t go to nursery for whatever reason or we are both travelling for work. This may occasionally be a last minute request-sometimes asked a day before it is needed.
When babysitting, we want his care to be the main priority. However, when he is napping, we would welcome light housekeeping to be conducted. We also encourage the person caring for Ewan to take him out and about, as we certainly wouldn’t want him stuck indoors all day.
