About Me
Hello, my name is Olivia and I’m 30 years old. I have a Politics degree from a good university, 10 GCSE's A*-C and 3 A-Levels from Lancashire's leading independent school.
I work primarily with videos/visuals, workbooks, textbooks and power points, I encourage a lot of independent learning, reading and note making, researching information and critical thinking, with my assistance and my resources to the older years (16+) which also enables prep for university/further education. For GCSE and younger, I tailor power points and resources to the individuals needs. I believe I am a fun, engaging and adaptable teacher who can relate to children of all ages due to my experience.
If you are interested in home lessons, I provide the resources and work books to aid revision for SATS/11+ amongst other subjects.
GCSE History, Politics at A-Level and 11+ are my specialisms and i have worked closely with the EDEXCEL exam board for History and Politics, and I have some knowledge of AQA. I have also taught RE at KS3/GCSE and Geography at KS3. Working with all students is rewarding for me, I love being a teacher and seeing pupils flourish and reach their full potential!
