My Requirements

We are looking for an extra pair of hands with to help with the children as mum works to settle in the family at home unpacking and organising life admin while dad is at work. Ideally someone who is charismatic and bubbly, enjoys creative play, visiting parks etc.

You would also need to help with tasks like getting them ready in the morning or helping with the evening bath routine, assisting with lunches/dinner prep. You might be required to look after the newborn or both the newborn and 4 year old for a few hours while mum or dad go out for an appointment so would have to be confident with a newborn. Our eldest will be going to school 5 days a week and our middle child 4 days so you would rarely be with all three children at once or without mum or dad around.

We would love to have someone who could work with us over a long term as mum will also return to work in a few months and we would love you to become more like a big sister/part of the family to the kids rather then just someone who’s just there to mind them and we would treat you like part of our family. Ideally you would have worked in childcare related industry before, be studying in that area or have worked with children in a health care setting and have first aid training.

At this stage we are wanting someone who is available 2 days a week for 4-6 hours a day. We are flexible with days and timings and happy to have different days each week but with a preference for one of those days to be a Tuesday. This might be suited for someone looking for flexible work (as we are flexible), maybe you work shift work or you are at university as this is not a full time role.
