About Me
Hi, I’m Adam, an Early Years/ Primary Teacher from Canterbury. I currently work in education in Herne Bay and I’m studying for my PhD in Education.
I offer private tutoring to support children with early phonics and reading, mathematical mastery, the Primary National Curriculum and 11+.
I also offer babysitting, but prefer the term ‘playcare’ to babysitting, as I will be spending time with your child and playing, not watching them from the sidelines.
I am registered on the DBS Update Service, so you can check my DBS status at any time.
My Experience
I have worked with children aged 2-12 for over 10 years and have both a BA and MA in Early Childhood Education and Care. I have additional qualifications in first aid, fire safety, food hygiene and safeguarding, as well as extensive training and experience supporting neurodiverse children and those with special education needs.
I have worked in Nurseries and Primary Schools across East Kent both as a Class Teacher and as a Manager.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
I charge £30p/hr for tutoring and £15 p/hr for playcare (babysitting). I charge an extra £5 p/hr if there are 4 children or more for the playcare.
