I'm an enthusiastic and positive Australian who's very driven and dedicated to a career in Primary Education. I currently work as a Teaching Assistant at a primary school and am studying a degree in early years education at university to become a qualified primary school teacher. I love to work with children and feel very passionate about understanding their world and way of thinking. I want to support their learning, development and ensure they always do so with joy and happiness! My Experience
I have 10+ years of experience working with children ranging from 0 to 12 years. I started as a hotel babysitter in Switzerland which gave me a number of nannying job opportunities. After moving to the UK over 4 years ago I started working as a Teaching Assistant- I have worked with all year groups and occasionally have provided support to the our school nursery. Currently, I am the year 5 Teaching Assistant, the school's Speech and Language Specialist and work 1:1 regularly with specific SEN children.
My Qualifications
Level 3 in Safeguarding
NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Teaching and Supporting Learning
Level 3 Supporting Language and Learning for 5-11s
Certified Antenatal, Birth and Postnatal Doula
My Availability
I am mainly looking for a babysitting/nannying position for the 2025 Summer holidays, I will be available full time and in the meantime until then I am open to some occasional babysitting alongside my work and studies. (The availability I have provided is my current availability until the summer which all be at all times)

We've had the pleasure of hiring Winona to watch our two children, who are 6 and 4. She's fantastic with them. She has the perfect balance. Warm and fun, quickly building a great rapport with our children whilst following all our routines.
I highly recommend Winona to any parent looking for a caring and reliable baby sitter.
Overall
Winona has baby sat for us regularly over the past 4 years. She has enabled us to continue some glimmer of a social life even with 3 children. Presently, our children are 10, 9 and 4 but obviously since our youngest was born the demands of Winona’s duties have changed very much. However, she has never had any issues and our children are so happy to be looked after by her; making going out so much easier. She will always have them calm and peaceful when we return and on the odd occasion that the youngest has woken she has been able to resettle her. Winona is alway keen to play with the children and assist them with any school work which takes a lot of heat off us. She has on occasion made picnics and has taken the children out to Farmer Palmers, firework displays, school fetes, soft play and regular visits to play parks. All comfortable and zero hassle. We have used Winona a number of times to care for our two girls aged 3 and 6. She is always very punctual and takes time to get to know the girls. They now always ask for Winona to look after them when we go out. She has the perfect balance of spending fun enjoyable time with the girls but also conveys the appropriate authority to get the girls in bed and asleep. I would highly recommend Winona to anyone looking for childcare.
