About Me
Hi there! I'm Eddie. I am offering one-on-one online French tutoring sessions to year 9, 10 or 11 students studying for their GCSEs.
As a tutor I am very familiar with the GCSE French curricula and keep up to date on requirements for foundation vs higher learners. I know the importance of taking a flexible approach to each student; concepts in any language can be hard to understand at first, but with the right explanation there is always a way to make hard concepts more straightforward.
I offer GCSE students support with schoolwork, exam prep, vocab and grammar in a patient and supportive environment. We can spend as much time as necessary on areas of difficulty until students are feeling confident in their understanding and well-prepared for their exams.
I have a clear DBS check.

My Experience
As a UK native who learnt French as a second language from a beginner to advanced level, I understand well the struggles that learners can face. I achieved an A* in GCSE French and a 1st in my Bachelor’s in History and French from the University of Liverpool. I have also spent time living and studying in Toulouse, in the south of France.
