Hello my name is Ava!
I am 20 years old and currently living just outside of Canterbury :)
I adore working with children and animals more than anything, so naturally I have found nannying/childcare to be the perfect fit for me. I have a basic DBS check, trained in first aid and would be happy to have any further checks/courses when requested.
I love keeping fit by going for long walks along the seaside or horse riding. So running around after energetic toddlers or taking the dog for walks is no problem for me!
In my free time you will find me, drawing, cooking, baking, painting, reading, crafting or journaling - so there will always be plenty of things for me to help keep your child in touch with their creative side!
I am a very clean and organised person, learning a lot of my skills on a 3 - week yachting course I took in 2023 , training to a seven star service standard.
My Experience
I am currently working ad hoc for a lovely family of four; B10 & B14 and a very handsome labrador! Tuesday’s and Thursday’s are the days I most commonly work - however as I am ad hoc this could change from working 2 days to 5 days a week, so please take this into consideration when reaching out!
I would love to take on another family who is also looking for me to work on an ‘as and when’ basis or who will have definitive days they would like me to work - and possibly a back up nanny in case of any last minute changes.
On occasion I will also help my auntie with her art class, in which I have gained teaching experience for children of all ages , abilities and needs.
My Qualifications
I attended St Edmunds School from lower to upper school, finishing my final year early in 2020 due to covid. I then went on to college in 2021 where I earned a merit my first year and a distinction my second year, studying Production & Performance Arts.
In 2023 I earned a range of certificates after completing a three week yachting course in the Isle Of Wight. Relevant certificates listed here;
