My Summary

My Experience

I have spent the past 5 years working in a nursery and have gained experience of all the age ranges that typically attend a nursery setting (4 months to 4 years). I have also had lots of babysitting experience too with older siblings included.

Within my experience in the nursery I was able to explore a variety of positions and role's that have given me opportunities to run the room and lead the team however I much prefer being able to focus on the children. I am interested in nannying as oppose to working in a nursery because I much prefer being able to focus on the children rather than the paperwork, which sometimes takes over. I did enjoy working in the nursery with large groups of children and a team around me however I love the idea of spending more one on one / less children to be able to give them as much of me as possible.

My Qualifications

I have my level 3 childcare diploma (Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce- Early Years Educator)

Alongside this I have had additional first aid training, safeguarding training, food safety and hygiene training and have had additional training in order to be a Designated Safeguarding Lead in the nursery I attended.

On top of my first aid training I have been around children who have contact based allergies that have required Epi-pens and other medications. Luckily I have not needed to administer either of those but I am aware of how to do so if necessary.

My Availability

I am open to discussing and adjusting hours depending on the family's requirements and needs, within reason of course. I would also be available for weekends and out of usual hours babysitting as long as it has been discussed and confirmed long enough in advance for me to ensure I am available and to rearrange my own plans if necessary.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
