I am a maternity nursing assistant at NHS. I am an empathetic person loving, kind, and hardworking. I enjoy working with new mothers at the ward with their newborn babies. working with Children has always been my passion which involved helping clients with their babies. I hold a degree in psychodynamic counselling and am currently specialising in working with young children and young adults.
I have experience working with organisations that support children with challenging behaviours, which has helped me develop patience and politeness in my interactions. Additionally, I work with the NHS in a role that involves caring for children. Also, mothers who have undergone some traumatic condition during birth. This experience enables me to listen to and understand the needs of both children and elderly individuals. whereby helping mothers to feed in case they are unable to.
I strive to be a loving, compassionate and authentic person in all my relationships.
My Experience
Working with the NHS in the maternity ward as a Nursing Assistant has enabled me to understand the extraordinary behaviours of infants with their cues. My passion for working with children has significantly developed since I began this role. Additionally, helping my clients with their babies before NHS, my sister and friends further enhanced my enthusiasm for working with kids, leading to increased experience in handling babies.
Collaborating with organisations that address challenging behaviours in children has had a great impact on my ability to support parents both physically, and emotionally. Furthermore, helping mothers with infants has led to the development of compassion toward them, especially given how tender and vulnerable they are. I believe my experience will be valuable for any parent seeking support.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Psychodynamic Counselling, which has allowed me to become a better listener and more compassionate, ultimately improving my work experiences. Additionally, I have a First Aid Certificate in paediatrics and hold a Certificate in Postnatal and Infant Care level 4, diploma in Business Computing. I am proficient in various day-to-day systems and possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
