About Me
I am 23 years old originally from Northern Ireland, but have been living in Scotland for the past five years. I hold a first-class degree in Sport and Exercise Science and I am currently studying a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. I have extensive childcare experience, love baking, and have a strong passion for the outdoors and sports, especially hockey.
My Experience
I have extensive childcare experience, including spending a year as an au pair in the Netherlands, where I cared for two boys aged 5 and 8. I lived with the family, prepared meals, did light housework such as laundry etc, took the boys to and from school and clubs, arranged fun and engaging activities, and provided support. I have also worked as an after-school nanny in Edinburgh for three boys aged 5, 5, and 6. My duties consisted of picking them up from school, cooking dinner, and organising activities such as arts and crafts, baking and outdoor play. Additionally, I have just finished up my last post where I cared for a 10-month-old and a 3-year-old, gaining experience in nappy changing, potty training, and early childhood care.
My Qualifications
I am first-aid trained, have a full PVG certificate and a full U.K. driving license. I can also provide references.
My Availability
Due to my Master’s programme I am available different days each week but I am free most evenings and weekends. Please send me a message if you’d like some more information!
