My name is Lauren - I am a qualified Early Years practitioner with over 10 years of experience in the sector. As a highly experienced childcare professional with a strong background in leadership and management, I bring a wealth of expertise and passion to my role.
If you were to ask a friend about me, they’d probably say I’m the one who can read an entire book in a day and still have the energy to run after toddlers! When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me in a cosy corner with a cup of tea and book in hand—just don’t ask me to pick between the latest mystery or a classic children’s tale, because I’m likely to say "both!"
My Experience
With over a decade of hands-on experience in childcare, I thrive in dynamic settings where no two days are the same. I am a Designated Safeguarding Lead, overseeing the safety and well-being of children. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People and a Level 5 qualification in Early Years Leadership & Management. In my current role, based in a day nursery, my responsibilities also include preparing for and supporting Ofsted inspections, where my team and I proudly achieved an Outstanding in All Areas grade.
I have a wealth of experience supporting children with SEND, including those with tube feeding, autism, and down syndrome. I am dedicated to tailoring care and learning to meet the individual needs of every child, ensuring they feel valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

Currently finalising my CAVA (Assessor) qualification, due to complete in January.
My Availability
I'm available full time, Mon-Fri with the occasional Saturday evening for babysitting. My preference would be to work 4 days per week, but I'm happy to discuss how this look and works for your families individual needs.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
