About Me
We are a family of 3, my name is Rachel, husband is Rich, and our son Finley is 7. We also have a very calm dog. We both work full time, I'm in London 3 days a week, my husband normally works from home.
My Requirements
Primarily we are looking for a tutor for my son, but if that person could also do some babysitting that would be ideal. We are looking for someone engaging who allows Fin to explore and ask questions, rather than rigourously following any particular curriculum. Right now we just want a tutor to help to instill a love of learning and maintain his curiosity. Perhaps this will follow through to 11+ prep but the key is to bring the interest and fun. We aren't explicitly looking for his outcomes at school to improve (he generally does well already) we are more looking to encourage a positive attitude to learning and a resilience to getting things wrong.
