Vacancy Description:
I am currently looking to recruit a Childcare Practitioner to join me in my childminding setting to deliver the best possible quality childcare and education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Desired Skills and Personal Qualities:
I am looking for someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about children’s early education. I’m hoping the person will help me plan activities, but I am equally happy if the person wishes to take more of a backseat.
You will need to be able to communicate effectively with the children, the parents and myself.
Your Responsibilities and Duties will involve
• Assisting in providing a safe environment for children.
• Arriving in good time to be hands on from the moment work starts.
• Assisting in the educational development and needs of individual children.
• Assistimng in ensuring the setting is clean and tidy and assist in meal preparation.
• Assisting with taking children on trips out and with collecting from school.
• Be able to support children’s behaviour and act as a role model.
• Supporting in ensuring the environment is stimulating and appropriate activities for the children including layout, display of resources, displays and equal opportunities.

A trial session of 2 hours will be offered to those candidates who are inspiring through their initial interview. This person will need to show passion and enthusiasm during their hands on second interview trial session.
