I am a student who has a great love for taking care of children. I have many passions and hobbies which include cooking, reading, spending time in nature and I thoroughly enjoy new experiences whatever they may be. I have a bubbly, enthusiastic personality and a positive outlook on life allowing me to provide kindness and tenderness when it comes to taking care of children. I enjoy doing things for others as it’s what brings me the most fulfilment in life and have a soft heart when it comes to kids.
My Experience
I have always been very mature for my age and at 14 began babysitting the children of multiple family friends doing things such as taking the children out, cooking for them, putting them to sleep and cleaning the house ready for the parents when they got home. I find that’s it’s very important to create a strong relationship with the children in your care and to make sure that the time you spend together is as educational and as enjoyable as possible. It can be very difficult for a child to be away from their parents, so as a babysitter, it’s my job to create an environment where they feel safe and nurtured.
Despite not having any children of my own, my dearest friend has a young child and 2 babies. I spend most of my free time with them and consider them my nieces and nephews. This has given me a lot of experience with taking care of babies all the way from the newborn stage to toddler age.
My Qualifications
I am currently undertaking a Level 3 T-Level in Business and Administration. This is due to finish in May.
I have sent in my DBS application and it will be cleared by 27/01/25.
