About Me
I am a 29 year old illustrator, and I love animals, the beach! Swimming, running, reading comics and of course drawing. I am currently self employed! Therefore I can be an ideal babysitter for whoever’s in need! Can come help at the drop of a hat (usually) and would really love to! I’ve been working as a nanny part time since 2019 and have always found it very rewarding and uplifting. Not only that but I find it partners very well with keeping me creative! I have learnt so much from different families along the way and have no doubt there are more to discover! I am kind, calm and have never not enjoyed a days work.
I currently work as a self employed illustrator but also do volunteer work at Glasgow Zine Library and at Project Ability helping with art classes for mentally ill adults.
My Experience
I have experience with children between the ages of 1-13! But have mainly worked with children between the ages of 2-10. I have done day care, over night care, and pre/after school care with pick up and drop offs. Also did voluntary work in a primary school for a year and nursery’s. So can help with reading/homework! As well as that, I have worked closely with a diagnosed autistic/adhd child so have experience in that department too. But all children have their own sensitivities which I am always on high alert to and have a lot of respect for.
My Qualifications
I have five C-A* GCSE’s
Distinction* in my art diploma
And a Bachelors Degree in illustration at Camberwell College of Art London.
I also have a DBS check as well as some references.
My Availability
I am looking for part time work so can be flexible!
