About Me

I am an 18 year old woman who is looking to work as a full time live in nanny. I have a L3 childcare qualification. Although I don’t have much experience working with children as part of the course I have completed in order to get my qualifications I was required to work 365 hours and 65 days in my first year as well as 385 hours and 85 days in my second year in a nursery and a primary school setting which I have completed in 3 different nurseries and 1 primary school. Whist in college I also had the opportunity to be able to travel overseas to work with children in Aruba, The Carribean where I worked with children of all ages below the age of 10. I really enjoyed this and was able to experience what it is like to work in a different country besides my own I overall loved this experience. Aside from that I am also part of a large family consisting of 11 siblings and because I am one of the eldest I had a part in helping to raise my younger siblings so therefore this is where some of my experience working with children comes from. I have a wide range of the basic skills needed in relation to childcare such as changing nappies, cooking and feeding them, putting them to sleep, following schedules such as meal times and nap times etc. I am a very flexible person and therefore this makes me a very quick learner. I am also a very kind hearted and reliable person and would love to have the opportunity to be able to work as a nanny and be able to become a part of a family to assist them in their children’s child care needs.
