About Me
My name is Rachel. I am a 34 year old mum to two amazing little girls. My eldest used to come along with me nannying and made best friends with the children I looked after. It was a great experience for everyone involved and I am hoping to create this with a new family, making new friends for my littles- and yours!
I have lots of experience with children of different ages and have a background in primary education. I enjoy all things play based and I am very creative. I would love to use all of my experience and interests to create a loving, stimulating, social and fun, ‘home from home’ environment for the children. I am very flexible and am open to part time work starting over the next few months. Also, willing to start right away for the right family! Open to tutoring sessions.
My Experience
My background is in primary education. I have 7 years experience of classroom teaching with a PGCE and a specialism in the early years. I worked as an assistant headteacher where I led the early years, led phonics across the school and was a trained designated safeguarding lead, until I left to have my first daughter. I then began nannying along with her and have since had another daughter, so have lots of experience with my own children!
I have also had training and experience with special educational needs.
