My Requirements
Hours: Morning school drop-offs (Monday-Friday) & one afternoon school pick-up. Occasional weekend hours by agreement.

About Davy (4):
Davy is 4 and has ASD. He is a bright, engaging boy who loves outside, music and singing etc. He can sometimes struggle with transitions and new situations, so patience and a calm approach are essential.
Responsibilities:
Morning Routine: Getting Davy ready for school, including dressing, breakfast, and packing his school bag.
School Drop-off: Taking Davy to school on time each morning approx 1 mile via driving a car.
School Pick-up: Collecting Davy from school one afternoon per week (Tuesday).
Supporting Mum: Assisting Mum with managing the morning routine and providing a positive and structured environment for Davy.
Light housework related to the children (e.g., tidying up after breakfast, children's laundry).
Occasional Weekend Support: Flexibility to provide occasional babysitting on weekends, by prior arrangement (with plenty of notice).
Essential Qualities:
Experience with children: Previous experience as a nanny, babysitter, or in a childcare setting.
ASD awareness: Experience with or a genuine willingness to learn about supporting children with ASD.
Patience and empathy: A calm and understanding approach, with the ability to adapt to Davy needs.
Reliability and punctuality: Essential for ensuring a consistent routine.
Excellent communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents.
Initiative and proactiveness: The ability to work independently and anticipate needs.
Driver's license: Driving is required.
Desirable Qualities:
Formal childcare qualifications: Relevant qualifications in childcare, early years education, or special needs education.
First Aid training: Up-to-date pediatric First Aid and CPR certification.
