About Me
I have spent almost my entire career working for children, starting as a nanny and later expanding into roles focused on educational inclusion. After nannying for three families and volunteering at a creche for five years, I now work for the local government in education, supporting vulnerable children in educational inclusion. My diverse career has also included roles in sales, marketing, retail, and customer service, but my passion for child welfare has always brought me back to working with children.
I believe in transparent communication with parents and tailoring care to each child’s unique needs, ensuring they thrive in a safe, supportive environment.
I have accumulated 11 years of experience working professionally with children, as well as caring for and engaging with children in my daily life within my family.
My Experience
2013-2014
At the age of 19 I had the pleasure of nannying for a wonderful family, caring for their 3-year-old daughter for a year.
2014-2015
I nannied for another lovely family, my role was solely based on school pick-ups and providing after-school care and occasional babysitting for their 6-year-old daughter.
2015 - 6 months
I cared for two siblings aged 4 and 6 after school and occasionally babysat for the family who later relocated to France.
All roles above included the responsibility of preparing and serving nutritious meals, assisting the school-aged children with homework, planning and leading recreational and developmental activities, tidying up, assisting with bathing, dressing and putting child to sleep.
Additional responsibilities such as; encouraging positive behavior, manners and support in developing social and life skills, and communicating with parents providing daily updates about the children’s routines, activities, and any concerns.
