About Me
I am a friendly and optimistic student from South East London. Dedicated to my studies, I am looking for some experience and flexible work whilst I complete my last year of College. Understanding and caring, I will always put in 100% into my work and will always prioritise the wellbeing of your children. I am passionate in what I do and am excited to gain this experience, as teaching and childcare is something I would be interested in pursuing. Outside of my occupation, I am interested in sports and literature. I would be a great fit for your family as I am approachable, relatable, and down-to-earth.
My Experience
My experience with childcare and tutoring comes from my work as a Beaver Leader. Organising and planning weekly sessions, I tailor the curriculum to a variety of abilities, as the children we lead are anywhere from 5-9. Additionally, I uphold the role as a safeguard team member and engage the wellbeing of the Beavers. I have been in this role for over a year now, and I really enjoy what I get out of it, and seeing the engagement from the children.
Furthermore, I have been tutoring a friend's sister in English for the last few months. She is currently in year 8 but we started when she was in year 7. We first completed a project together on writing speeches, in which she had to write and deliver a speech to her class.
My Qualifications
My qualifications stem from my experience, but I also have education to prove my qualities as a knowledge asset.
In GCSEs, I was awarded 2 7s (high A) in English Literature and Language, a Distinction (A) in BTEC Health and Social Care, and a 9 (A*) in History.
In A-levels, I am predicted an A* in Politics, A* in Media, and an A in English. I am also doing an EPQ in which I am writing a 5000 word essay on medical ethics, in which I am predicted an A. I have applied to University for the 2025 academic year, and have received offers from Bath, Warwick, and Royal Holloway. I am currently waiting for an offer from Cambridge University after an interviewer.
