Hello, I’m Nadine, a dedicated tutor with over seven years of teaching experience. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a master’s degree in Education with Management and Leadership. While lessons can initially take place in the home to help your child feel comfortable, we can discuss a plan after the first few sessions to gradually introduce new environments if beneficial.
For some children, stepping outside the home or into unfamiliar settings can be overwhelming. I work on building their confidence and adaptability, taking small steps to ensure they feel supported and secure. This might include teaching essential life skills like navigating public transport or exploring community spaces such as libraries, museums, and community centres—all of which have appropriate public liability coverage to ensure safety.
My lessons are designed not only to meet academic goals but also to build real-world skills and independence. I tailor each session to your child’s individual needs, working towards achieving AQAs or other qualifications that align with their abilities and aspirations. My Experience
My lessons are personalised to meet the individual needs of each child, ensuring they feel supported and motivated to learn. I specialise in working with children aged 2 to 15, including those with SEN/SEND or learning difficulties. Whether we’re focusing on phonics, reading, writing, maths, or general study skills, I create a positive and engaging environment where every child can thrive.
I use a variety of interactive teaching methods, including games, activities, and visual aids, to make learning fun and effective. Each lesson is designed to build confidence and develop essential skills at a pace that suits the learner. My goal is to help your child progress while enjoying the learning process.
