About Me
Hi there, I'm Atlas, a 19 year old student looking for part time employment to better support myself, I am the middle child of 4 sisters and have been caring for children for over five years as I grew up as a young carer to my younger siblings. I currently study french and film at Stirling university and hope to teach one day.
My Experience
For the majority of my teenage life I have taken on the role of a young carer within my household, providing care to two toddlers for multiple hours a day, this included tasks such as bath time, playtime, getting them dressed and later homework or hobby orientated tasks as they grew. Along side this I helped maintain a clean living environment by doing tasks such as washing the dishes, doing the laundry or vacuuming.
In addition, I completed work experience within a Primary school working mainly with reception children in large groups, providing games, entertainment and emotional support to multiple children.
I have studied health and social care for 5 years now, from 2019 to 2024 at both a GCSE and Alevel level receiving a distinction at the end of the time.
