hi! I'm Megan, I'm 18 and I am hoping to get some more experience between now and when I go back to college in September.
I've loved helping with and working with children from a young age and am hoping to become qualified next year.
i love the outdoors and nature so I'll happily take your child out on walks and tell them facts about nature to help with their knowledge and I can help with homework such as reading or spelling and maths if your child is at the age where they get homework.
my main area is children aged 2-5 since I have the most experience with them already but I'm happy to help with both older and younger kids.
I do not yet drive so I have to get places through public transport but as long as you ask in advance I should have no trouble getting to you as long as I can walk from a bus stop or train station to you.
My Experience
I have done placement in a nursery for around 350 hours (two days a week from 8:30am to 3:30pm and 5pm when doing after-school club). during that time I worked with children aged 2-5 and during after-school club I worked with children aged 2-11. I will hopefully be doing more work for them when I'm back in college as the course requires me in placement.
when I was in year 10 in highschool I was a reading mentor and helped year 7's with their reading if they were behind for whatever reason and in year 9 I went to the primary school closest to my old highschool and did reading with children in year 4 through to year 6.
My Qualifications
I have the knowledge from the first year of a level 3 education and childcare t level and got a C during it but i sadly had to drop the second year because of personal reasons. I will be returning in september to get a level 2 education and childcare qualification instead.
I have done 2 first aid courses, 1 while i was in the air cadets and 1 during my first year on the t level but I don't have a certificate for either one.
My Availability
I should be available weekdays unless stated otherwise and my hours are flexible. I do however need to be told when you'd like me a bit in advance so I can work out how to get to you. I might be able to work the occasional weekend if needed.

My rates will be the minimum wage for an 18 year old (£8.60) but the website won't let me put a rate below £9
