Job Opportunity: Part-Time Maternity Nurse/Nanny
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate part-time maternity nurse/nanny to join our family.
The primary focus of this role is to support the mother with both children, seamlessly transitioning between them as needed and confidently taking charge of one or both when necessary.
About the Role
This role is designed to support a stay-at-home mum, providing flexibility and assistance wherever required. The ideal candidate will seamlessly transition between caring for a Newborn 5 weeks old and a 2 year old.
We live in a spacious home in Bengeo, Hertford, Hertfordshire, within walking distance of parks, local groups, and town facilities that the children love.
Key Responsibilities
• Newborn Care: Feeding, changing, and establishing routines.
• Toddler Care: Providing care on nursery-free days or as needed.
• Child-Related Household Tasks: Laundry, meal preparation, toy cleaning, and toy rotation.
• Flexibility: Assisting the family during occasional weekends and holidays.
Candidate Requirements
• Extensive experience with newborns and ideally a maternity nursing background.
• A warm, nurturing approach and excellent rapport with toddlers.
• Ability to handle structured routines and adapt to dynamic situations.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage child-related tasks.
• A confident and competent driver (a car will be provided).
Working Hours & Commitment
• Days: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, with occasional weekends and holiday support.
• Hours: Wednesday 8:00 AM – 7PM, Thursday 8AM-7PM, Friday 8AM-5PM
• Evenings: 1–2 evenings per month. Available for occasional weekends with the children and open to joining the family on occasional holidays.
• Start Date: Immediate
