My name is Phillip, and I’m looking for a compassionate and reliable individual to assist with home help and caring duties for my family. We’re a warm and welcoming household that values kindness, patience, reliability and clear communication, and we hope to find someone who shares those same values.
A Little About Us
Our family is made up of me, my disabled partner, and our 8-yr-old daughter and the friendly, family dog. We believe in creating a harmonious and happy home environment, and we’re looking for the right person to help us maintain that balance.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking someone who can help with:
- Caring for my 35year old disabled T1 Diabetic partner with mobility issues (neuropathy):-
- Bathing (wash with flannel), washing hair, change of bedding, supervise walk to WC at
night.
- Mental health support/companionship during night time.
- Changing Bedding / Helping into bed (downstairs)
- Assisting in the support /supervision of our daughter.
- Assisting with light household tasks such as washing, hoovering, tidying, laundry, etc.
- Providing companionship and support when needed.
- Respite care (2x Overnight + 1xSaturday). Duties to include supervision / safeguarding my vulnerable partner and daughter with activities to include watching movies, arts and crafts, visit local parks for fresh air.
The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving or home help and a friendly, positive attitude. We deeply value trust and reliability, as you’ll become an important part of our family’s day-to-day life.
Due to the care needed, a female care worker is required.
Total Weekly hours: 42 (paid every 4 weeks)
