About Me
Hello my name is Emily, and I am passionate about childminding. I pride myself on ‘Green View Hatchlings’ being a home from home environment ensuring a gentle transition from a child’s home life until they start school.
I like to build a relationship with parents and carers to ensure that children feel safe, happy and relaxed while maintaining a high level of manors, mutual respect and active learning.
Green View Hatchlings offers a safe, calm, happy and hygienic, home from home which is set in a beautiful village within the New Forrest. The countryside is important to me, and I love to incorporate the outdoors into our daily activities.
I also believe that that it is important to build on a child’s confidence to prepare them for a plethora of situations and environments and tailor my outings to support this.
My Experience
I have spent the last 3 and a half years working full time within a busy nursery. During this time, I have cared for children aged from 7 months to 5 years old. I have experience with children with extreme allergies and intolerances. I am also a mum to two children, Oliva and Arthur.
My Qualifications
•ICQ Level 3 Diploma in children’s Learning and Development. ( Early Years Educator )
•DBS Checked.
•Safeguarding Children and Designated Safeguarding Lead.
•Safeguarding Children. (Level 2)
•Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
• Health and Safety in the workplace.
• Sign Language awareness training course.
•Anti-Racism in Early Years training course.
•Food Allergy Awareness course training course.
•Health and Nutrition in Early Years training course.
•Food Safety and Hygiene Level 2.
•Full, Clean UK Driving license.
• Fully insured.
