We are a friendly family living in the beautiful rural village of Hathersage, looking for a reliable and caring Housekeeper/Nanny to assist us on Mondays. If you’re someone who loves to keep a home running smoothly and enjoys working with young children, this might be the perfect role for you!
About the Role
You’ll be an integral part of our day, helping with household tasks in the morning and caring for our 9-month-old baby in the afternoon. We both work from home, so we’re looking for someone to become a seamless part of our family routine.
Key Responsibilities
Morning: Housekeeping (approx. 4 hours)
• Deep cleaning of the house (not just tidying).
• Assisting with laundry (washing, drying, and putting away).
• General organisation of the home to keep it running smoothly.
Afternoon: Nannying (approx. 4 hours)
• Playing, interacting with, and engaging in age-appropriate activities with our 9-month-old.
• Providing a safe and nurturing environment during care.
Requirements
• Experience in housekeeping and/or childcare.
• A warm, friendly, and proactive attitude.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• A driver’s licence or access to reliable transport (we’re in a rural area, so driving or being on the bus route is essential).
