About Me
We're Julie & Stephanie and together we have set up The Learning Tree. Both qualified primary school teachers, we offer small group tuition in Cockfosters and online. Building and maintaining confidence is a key feature of our approach. Our groups are deliberately capped at 6 children, so that our classes are a safe and positive space for children to explore aspects of their learning at a comfortable pace.
My Experience
Together our key strengths lie in our wealth of over 20 years classroom teaching/tutoring experience between us, specialised curriculum writing expertise, formal phonics training and taking part in lesson study focusing on reluctant writers. Dedication to our craft, coupled with a genuine passion for teaching, makes us trusted allies for parents seeking to enrich their child's educational journey.

We both hold BSc (Hons) & PGCE in Primary Education
My Availability
We offer small group tuition Monday to Thursday during term time.
Monday:
4.50pm Phonics in Cockfosters
5.15pm KS2 English & Maths Online
6.15pm 11+ Prep Online
Tuesday:
4pm Phonics in Cockfosters
5pm Years 2, 3 & 4 Writing in Cockfosters
Wednesday:
4.50pm KS2 Maths in Cockfosters
5.50pm 11+ Prep in Cockfosters
Thursday:
4pm EYFS & KS1 Maths in Cockfosters
