About Me
I am a qualified primary school teacher with extensive experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Over the years, I have worked in a variety of roles across Liverpool, including as a 1:1 support worker for SEN and SEMH children. Currently, I work in a nurture base within a mainstream school, where I support students' individual needs and help foster their emotional and academic development. I hold both a idegree and a master's degree in education from Liverpool Hope University, equipping me with a deep understanding of the curriculum from Early Years through to Key Stage 2.
I have experience in working with SEN needs and can adapt all sessions to suit individuals and their needs.
I hold a valid DBS.
I offer in person sessions locally and virtual sessions.
My Experience
I have a diverse range of experience working with children of various ages and needs. I have worked as a 1:1 support worker for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive in their learning environments. My role in a nurture base within a mainstream school has allowed me to collaborate with children who have SEN and physical needs, ensuring they receive the care and education necessary to succeed. Additionally, I have experience as a teacher in mainstream primary schools, where I have taught across all areas of the primary curriculum and various year groups, adapting my teaching approach to meet the needs of each individual student.
I am also available for babysitting.
My Qualifications
PGCE in Primary Education with QTS.
Bachelors Degree in Education Studies.
Masters in Education Studies.
Level 3 Health and Social Care.
