My Experience
I joined Our Lady of Lourdes P.S. as a classroom assistant in November, where I support two children with learning differences in Primary 7. I have experience leading small groups in English and maths, which has helped me develop strong problem-solving skills when working with children. I take an empathetic approach to my interactions, always striving to understand and support each child's unique needs.
In addition to childminding, I offer personal tutoring in maths and physics from KS2 to A Level, having previously tutored both at school and during university.
I also have experience as a domiciliary healthcare assistant and have received first aid training. In this role, I demonstrated my ability to work well under pressure and adapt flexibly to different situations. Furthermore, having grown up with my sister, who had severe cerebral palsy, I have first-hand experience supporting individuals with varying needs.
My Qualifications
I have an enhanced access NI check and I currently work as a classroom assistant in Our Lady of Lourdes primary school. I received a 2:1 integrated masters in Physics, I studied mathematics, further mathematics, physics, and chemistry and A Level (A and A*s) and studied 10 GCSEs (A and A*s).
My Availability
I am available from 3pm, which is when I finish at Our Lady of Lourdes P.S. and I am free in the evenings.
