About Me
I’m a single first time mum to a lovely little girl with lots of energy that sometimes I can’t keep up with! She loves messy play, reading, music and going to the park or just for general walks. She will be one very soon.
Unfortunately she is struggling with separation anxiety at the minute so we are looking for someone who will be patient and calm with her. I have been with her on maternity leave for 11 months which I believe has contributed to the anxiety so this is something I would love to work on.
My Requirements
I will want someone who is bubbly and cheerful as those are the people she’s generally drawn to. I would like someone who is patient and kind as this will likely be a difficult transition for her (and me!) so I want to make sure that she is happy in her environment.
She is breastfed but eats well (when she’s not being picky!). I will likely be breastfeeding until she’s two. For the first month in childcare I will pick her up around lunchtime as she gets used to reducing feeds but I am hoping she will start accepting breast milk from a cup.
I want an environment that encourages learning as she is incredibly bright and is starting to understand numbers, colours, letters. This is something I want to continue to build on. However play is incredibly important as well!
We will soon be starting potty training as well so experience in that area would be great but not essential!
