Hi! I'm Amiee. I'm a final-year student looking to work with children in Cornwall, a place I grew up in and am excited to bring back the skills I have learned from my degree. I enjoy the energy and creativity that working in childcare brings, and have worked with children with a range of ages from newborn to 16. I love the countryside and am quite a creative person who loves music, arts, and crafts. I have a degree in psychology which has taught me a lot about children's wellbeing and development.
My Experience
I have over a year of experience working in a nursery, where I’ve cared for children ranging from newborns to 5 years old. My responsibilities include creating fun activities, serving meals, and supporting all areas of their development. I also worked in the US as a summer camp counsellor, where I led various outdoor activities for children aged 5 to 15, such as dance and Girl Scouts. Here, I had a nanny-like role for children aged 8-10, where I was their primary caregiver throughout the summer
My Qualifications
I have paediatric first aid training and am CPR certified
My Availability
I will have a pretty flexible schedule from May/June 2025 once I have finished my degree.
