My Summary
🌟 Providing A Nurturing And Engaging Environment For Your Little Ones 🌟
About Me
With over eight years of experience teaching in the British curriculum across the UK and Qatar, I have had the privilege of working with children from all walks of life. More than just an educator, I see myself as a nurturer of curiosity, confidence, and joy. Every child is unique, and I take the time to understand, encourage, and celebrate them as they grow.
I know how important it is for children to feel safe, loved, and supported, and I work hard to create an environment where they can flourish at their own pace. Whether it’s helping with homework in a way that feels less like a chore and more like an adventure, engaging in creative, play-based learning, or simply being a warm and reassuring presence, I strive to make every moment meaningful.
My experience with child-led learning, structured routines, and engaging activities means I can offer a balance of gentle guidance and fun-filled exploration. I love sparking a child’s natural curiosity—whether that’s through storytelling, outdoor play, or hands-on discovery. At the heart of everything I do is a genuine love for working with children and a deep understanding of how to help them feel confident, valued, and capable.
I don’t just look after children—I care for them, encourage them, and help them shine. ?
My Experience
1?? Over Eight Years of Teaching Experience – I have spent years working closely with young children, helping them build confidence, independence, and a love for learning. I know that every child is unique, and I take the time to understand their strengths and challenges.
2?? Montessori & Play-Based Learning – I believe children learn best when they’re having fun. By using a gentle, child-led approach, I encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving through hands-on activities that feel like play but are full of rich learning experiences.
3?? Read Write Inc. Phonics – Learning to read can be magical, but it can also be frustrating for some children. I am experienced in Read Write Inc. Phonics, helping little ones develop reading and writing skills in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. I love seeing the moment when everything "clicks" for a child.
4?? Personalised Learning Support – Whether a child is struggling with schoolwork or simply needs a boost in confidence, I adapt my approach to suit their individual learning style. Every child deserves to feel proud of their progress, no matter how big or small.
5?? Childcare & Supervision – I understand that parents need someone they can truly trust. My priority is always to ensure that children feel safe, happy, and valued in my care. Whether it’s cuddling up with a book, making a den, or simply listening when they need to talk, I am there for them.
6?? Organising Educational & Creative Activities – I love bringing learning to life through hands-on activities like messy play, nature walks, storytelling, and arts and crafts. These moments of fun and discovery create lasting memories while helping children develop essential skills.
7?? Homework Assistance & Academic Enrichment – I know that homework can sometimes feel like a battle! I make it less stressful and more engaging, using patience, encouragement, and a bit of creativity to help children feel capable and proud of their work.
8?? Experience with Diverse Learners – Having worked with children from many different backgrounds, I understand the importance of embracing each child's uniqueness. I create an environment where they feel comfortable, valued, and free to express themselves.
9?? Structured & Nurturing Routines – Children thrive on routine, but I also believe in balance and flexibility. I create a warm, consistent environment where children know what to expect while also allowing space for fun and spontaneity.
? Outdoor & Active Play – As a former kayak and paddleboard coach, I love encouraging children to connect with nature, be adventurous, and develop a love for the outdoors. Whether it’s a simple trip to the park, a scavenger hunt, or a splash in puddles, I believe fresh air and movement are essential to a happy childhood.
I truly care about creating a safe, happy, and enriching environment for the children in my care. Every child is special, and I feel privileged to play a part in their growth and development.
