About Me

I am looking for a person who has experience, understanding and worked with children who are autistic, ADHD, difficulty with speech and language and sensory needs.

I have a 6 year old with special needs and a 9 month old. The care would be primarily for the child with special needs after school Monday - Wednesday for 3 hours from 4pm.

We would be working along side one another with the care and other caring requirements of both children such as toileting, cooking, feeding, reading, playing and cleaning up after dinner, play time. The latter two are something that can be discussed in more detail but in brief I am not looking for a house cleaner just someone who cleans up after the children and themselves.

Once relationship and understanding of child with special needs has been formed, we may require the child to be collected from school 1/2 days a week from 3:20pm.

I also have a 9 month old and I will require day time care for him a few hours a day on Tuesday and Wednesday (days tbc). This would not be required immediately but would be grateful if you could keep an open mind for this care too and will discuss in more details prior to or meeting you.

As this work involves a child I will require references, DBS check and a copy of your ID. If you are unable to provide these, I would appreciate it if you did not apply for the role.
