Hi, my name is Eden. I am 25 and have 8 years in childcare experience. I have a bubbly and enthusiastic personality and have been referred to as “Mr Poppy” from nativity (if you know you know?). I have worked within a school, residential home, babysitting jobs and I currently work in a nursery! I am a mum myself to a cheeky toddler and enjoy spending time with my gorgeous family.
My Experience
I have 8 years experience in childcare. I worked within a school setting as a teaching assistant with ages from 4-11 and worked as an afterschool care manager for a number of years. I went into working within a residential home so have experience with challenging behaviour and ages from 10-17, my job consisted of acting as a parent figure to 3 young people whilst they lived in our care. I have moved into working in a nursery due to wanting a consistent work life pattern for my own daughter who is 2. I have worked for different families throughout the years Babysitting for different ages.
As a parent I can understand how daunting it is leaving your pride and joy with another person, I hope I can be that safe person that you feel comfortable and safe leaving your children in my care.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Childcare qualification. I have a current DBS and first aid certificate which can be provided!???
