About Me
Hi. I'm Lucy, Mum to Darcie (12), Marlie (3) and Ottilie (1) and fiance to Scott. We live in Long Eaton near the Dovedale Primary School with our Sausage dog Dollie and our cat Mimi.
From March 2025 I will be offering wrap around care for Dovedale Primary School along with inset days and care during school holidays for children from a variety of schools. (Ages 4 - 11 years)
After growing up in a busy home, me and my 2 sisters enjoyed life being surrounded by lots of other children as our Mum was a childminder during our childhood. This has inspired me to want to give my children the same experiences and give me the best work/life balance.
I will be working from our family home. We have a large playroom with a large selection of toys for all ages. A play area in our garden with a large climbing frame, trampoline, and lots of outdoor toys. It is all safely built on a rubberised flooring.
I will be offering a variety of engaging activities, as well as the option to chill out after a busy day at school. Activities include
Arts and crafts
Role play/imaginitive play
Games and puzzles
‘Small world’ including happy land, train track, duplo, cars
Books
Dedicated homework area
Children will have a light, healthy tea and unlimited squash or water.
