My Summary
About Me
My name is Jess Greaves, I am the proud owner of Happy Nest Childcare, I live with my Husband Jamie and our two children Isla (9 years) and Hattie (3 years). We also have two adorable dogs named Tilly and Milly. They have grown up with both of my children from being
newborns. We live on Amberwood Chase on the boarder of Ossett and
Dewsbury.
I have worked with children from being a young age through my work
experience when I was at high school right through to working in a day
nursery. Back in 2010, I decided to have a career change and moved
into an administration role. When Isla came along in 2016, I thoroughly
enjoyed my maternity leave planning sensory activities with her and
introducing baby led weaning. In 2021, Hattie arrived and we thoroughly
enjoyed our time together exploring both indoor and outdoor activities.
It’s paid off, as both girls are adventurous and love the great outdoors.
Our favourite activities involve messy play!
Over the years I have thoroughly missed working with children and
carrying on my passion for sensory, crafting and outdoor learning. I’ve
decided that now is the right time to share my passion. I love working
with children and enjoy watching them learn and grow.
I look forward to welcoming your child(ren) into my home and helping
them to develop and grow into happy, confident children, in a safe and
caring environment.
My Experience
I have worked with children from being a young age through my work
experience when I was at high school right through to working in a day
nursery. As well as being a mum and auntie.
I have completed all my childminding qualifications; level 3 NVQ in
childcare, paediatric first aid, safeguarding, food hygiene and I continue
to update my skills and knowledge through consistent online learning.

My Availability
I will be open from 7.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
I also provide wraparound care for Gawthorpe Academy
I will be closed bank holidays. My yearly holiday entitlement will be
disclosed to parents at the beginning of each year to allow for additional
childcare to be planned.
