I am Jess Wilding, I am 18 years old and I currently work full time in a nursery. In my free time I love to be creative and have completed several crochet, knitting and sewing projects. I have recently gotten passionate about baking and I am loving tweaking recipes to suit the tastes of my family. I love to be adventurous and try out new things. I am able to adapt and overcome challenges, even when under stress and I think that I am confident in my childcare abilities and skills.
My Experience
I have experience in two childcare settings. I have completed over 800 hours in one setting and was later employed there. Throughout my time there I gained a lot of valuable knowledge and skills, especially working closely with SEN children which has helped my to become more flexible with my approach towards children. I then was employed at a year round nursery, which I have been employed at for almost a year; I love that I get to work with all of the different ages of children which has deepened my understanding of my approach.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 T-level qualification in education and childcare. I have a full drivers licence. I also have completed safeguarding level 2 and 3. I also have a paediatric first aid certificate
My Availability
I am currently employed full time in a nursery and I have Wednesdays off. I am willing to work weekend and evenings if needed and I am willing to be employed full time as a nanny, provided I can give adequate notice, or change to a part time role where I am currently employed.
