Welcome to Sweet Beginnings Home Nursery.
Sweet Beginnings Home Nursery is located in Tottenham, N17 and is registered by an Ofsted-Approved childminding agency.
We are within reach and walking distance of White Hart Lane Station and Bruce Castle Park.
Our home childcare setting is run by myself and my mother , and we are registered early years educators.
Our Home:
A beautiful indoor home nursery setting with a cosy, bright, and colourful spacious playroom.
A playroom that offers a rich and enabling environment to embrace inclusiveness and diversity and a large outdoor space with play activity areas.
Our Ethos & Curriculum:
Our aim is to empower children by providing exceptional early years education with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and th inspiration of different educational approaches such as: Montessori and the Curiosity Approach and natural play based learning, that encourages thinking and offers opportunities to explore a range of experiences and ideas.
What do we provide?
We provide reliable, flexible, and quality childcare services for families with children aged 1 to 4 years old;
All year round & Term-time care
Full-time care (Monday - Thursday)
Summer Holiday Club (Monday to Wednesday only - during the 6 weeks holiday)
My Experience
Background
Charlene Rowe (Childminder):
I have over 10 years of experience working with children, young adults, and the elderly. I am a caring and nurturing individual with a very passionate interest in childcare and early years development. I have studied health and social care at the University of Bedfordshire and also have certificates in childcare, child education, outdoor play, child neglect awareness and autism awareness, and many more.
I have worked various settings, from being a nursery assistant to a school meal supervisory assistant to a classroom assistant. With the immense experience gained over the years, this prompted me to open my own home nursery.
Lorna Rowe (Childminding Assistant):
I am a retired nurse with thirty years plus years experience and immense education built in working from various hospitals. I have also gained extensive experience volunteering and working in local primary schools. With the experience I gained over the years, it prompted me to pursue a career in childminding and working together with my daughter in providing home-based childcare.

Our operating hours are from 7:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Thursday.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
£8.50 per hour / £70.00 per day - These fees include the 12% commission to the childminding agency.
(Home-cooked meals and snacks are not included in fees or provided. We kindly request that parents provide packed lunch and snacks).
