About Me
Hi everyone, I am Mercy, I am 36, and i am a registered childminder residing in tuebrook. A mom of one living in a loving, smoke-free, alcohol free and pet free home. I have been DBS checked and also attained safeguarding and paediatric first aid training, food hygiene, and allergen training.
My setting is cleaned regularly throughout the day, and all children are always encouraged to wash their hands regularly throughout the day. I have a strict cleaning regime, which is completed daily.
My home is a welcoming environment suitable for all. I have a dedicated room full of fantastic resources and plenty of learning activities. I enjoy taking care of children as I feel that it comes naturally. I want them to feel safe and comfortable, and children enjoy spending time with me.
I support children's development by having in-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, ensuring kids are engaged in learning activities appropriate for their age or stage of development.
I am a reliable and trustworthy person. I understand the importance of the responsibility of caring for someone elses children, and I will ensure that it is effective and successful.

My Experience
I have a friendly personality, and I have worked with children for years. I have experience working as a teaching assistant in different schools with a range of ages, mostly with 0-6 years and loads more personal family experience with my own child, siblings, nieces, and nephews.
I occasionally do courses to improve my skills and continue with online CPD courses as well to ensure my knowledge is current.
