My Summary
About Me
I will try my best to put my rollercoaster life journey in a nutshell! In my spare time I do film and TV acting and I enjoy going to the gym. I’m a family girl through and through . My mum is my best friend and I’m one of five. I have two nephews, both aged five, and a diva of a niece who’s eleven. They’ve helped me master everything from nappy duty to feeding time at the zoo. One of my nephews I helped raise, as my sister had a very traumatic pregnancy, so you could say I’ve been working with children for quite some time.
Growing up as a British northern country girl, I had two horses and learned the value of patience, hard work, and the ability to keep calm when faced with chaos . Whether that was being launched across a field or waking up through the night for multiple bottle feeds I always managed to get through it .
I moved to Dubai last January and now I’ve made the jump to London, ready for my next adventure. But no matter where I go, family is at the heart of everything I do. That’s why working with a family feels so special to me, it keeps me close to home, even when I’m miles away.
My Experience
During college, I worked in a nursery with the babies for two days a week for a year, from 9 am to 3 pm. My responsibilities included giving them their lunch, reading books, singing nursery rhymes, giving them their bottles and settling them for their afternoon naps.
I have also been babysitting my nephews and niece since they were born. My niece is now eleven. I help her with homework, take her shopping and plan days out with her now that she’s older. One of my nephews has spent a lot of time with me since birth, as my sister had a traumatic pregnancy. I would put him to bed, give him his bottle, and do bath time, as well as outdoor activities like trips to the farm, the beach, or the park. I still help take him to and pick him up from school.
I also support his education, as he has autism and is particularly strong with numbers and letters. He sometimes displays challenging behaviour, which I know how to handle, so this is something I am very familiar with.
Previously, I also babysat for a family friend, as the parents would often go on date nights at the weekend. During this time, I would cook dinner for the children and get them ready for bed.
My Qualifications
I hold qualifications in Health and Social Care, along with a valid First Aid certification and an enhanced DBS check. Additionally, I have a full UK driving license, allowing me to provide safe and reliable transportation if needed.
My Availability
As a freelance actor, I have a fully flexible schedule, allowing me to be available as needed. This enables me to adapt to the family’s requirements and provide reliable, consistent care.
