About Me
I was born in Hong Kong in 2000. There are 4 members in my family including my loving parents and older sister. I went to school in Hong Kong before moving to the UK in 2023 to pursue a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Brunel University.
I enjoy travelling and exploring different cultures. I did an exchange programme in the US back in 2021 where I met lots of international friends. It was a lovely time. Duringm my whole travelling journey, my favourite places are Florida, Bali, Perth and Switzerland.
I have completed a bachelor of psychology degree and also a yoga instructor course. Therefore, I really focus on the well-being of people and I hope I can make a positive impact on the people around me.
In my current program, I have gained much knowledge and skills about kids with special needs, such as handwriting. My plan for the future is to become an Occupational Therapist in Paediatrics, to help more children in need.
My Experience
My childcare experience includes tutoring and providing homework support to primary school students in one-on-one or group settings for subjects like Maths, English and Science.
I make sure I am punctual and well-prepared for every session. I aimed to create a fun teaching style so that every student would be more engaged. Also, I would take extra care of students who needed more time or help so that they would not feel left out as I know different children have different learning styles.
