My Experience

I gained my qualification level 3 Diploma in supporting young children in schools in 2015, at present I work as a nursery assistant at Rosehill Nursery Morden and would like to be able to further my career and use my qualification. My placement was one day a week in reception class as a teaching assistant at St Marys Catholic infants school and when needed including nursery which helped me gain a good understanding of EYFS standards, along with my level 3 course which helped me gain this knowledge. I am a cheerful, friendly, outgoing person and enjoy working as part of a team.

Responsibilities
• Supporting the team in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to EYFS.
• Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times.
• Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.
• Looking after children during lunch in the dinner hall.
• Supervising during play time outside.
