My Experience

I have worked alongside my wife for just over 2 years as an assistant and I was previously chairman at a preschool in 2013-2015.

This is where I built my passion for early years learning.

I strongly believe a home from home setting provides children with confidence with separation from their family.

Having a male dynamic in the setting has proven to be a positive one for all the children.

We work together with the children and the parents/carers to make sure your child’s stay with us is full of fun and learning within a protected environment.

The children will blossom with confidence to learn through their own and group experiences, while also being guided through an adult lead learning and play activities, improving their overall learning, confidence and knowledge and give them the tools needed before they start their school journey.

We also understand and are supportive of children who need a little longer to learn things in their own time.

Between both of us we have done many courses including Paediatric first aid and Safeguarding, this has given me an even better knowledge of how children learn and need to be protected and cared for, this helps me improve their learning experience.

We have many exciting activities, from walks in the woods, trips to the park, nature reserves, strawberry picking, bird world, water play, challenging games, learning games, cooking, exploring, pond dipping, rubbing, running, Climbing, trips to the library, churches, interacting with other children to help them learn.

We are unable to take children on a temporary basis, in my professional opinion it can often take children a while to settle so a temporary place with us would not benefit your child’s emotional development, therefore, this isn’t something we will offer.

• Childminding from £7.00 per hour

Daily fee £60
