About Me
My preferred name is Vicki, I’m a mother to 1 daughter, and step- mother of 2 sons, making me a parent of 3 and I run “Curious Little Coopers” Childminding services.
I’ve had a full-time career working with children and adults within the education and rehabilitation sectors for approximately 25 years.
I have specialized working with those with neurodiverse needs and disabilities, as well as qualified as a Play Therapist, working with those who have suffered trauma.
We are all unique individuals, and this is where my passion is. Building and developing our own unique skills so that we feel confident and fulfilled in our abilities to achieve.
I work with a Montessori approach, ensuring children are enabled to access a range of equipment from the natural world encouraging healthy risk taking to enhance their independence, and I work therapeutically in my approach to support children to understand and regulate their emotions enhancing their awareness of their needs and others around them.
Children need to feel free to explore and this is what will provided at Curious Little Coopers in a safe and manageable way.

My Experience
Since qualifying in 2003 as a early years practitioner, my career has expanded vastly, working up to becoming a SEND manager within FE provision.
I have worked with children from birth, all the way up to adults for nearly 25 years and have had the pleasure of supporting and developing neurotypical children and those who have special education needs and other neurodiverse needs.
I've always enjoyed the support side to my role and have pursued many qualifications along the way, such as Sleep Practitioner, SENDCO, including Autism and ADHD, Safeguarding, First Aid, and a Psychotherapy degree in Play Therapy.
By utilising all of the above skills, I feel I am able to offer a unique childcare service to you and your children, so you can feel rest assured that their individual needs are being catered for well.

My Availability
Monday to Friday 08:30- 17:00, all year round. There may be some flexibility but this will be discussed at initial meeting between myself and parent/ carers.
Holiday Club provision- can be discussed depending on availability.
Ad hoc childcare- can be discussed depending on availability.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.82 per hour
Offering full days care from 8:30am until 5:00pm (with some flexibility before 8:30am and after 5:00pm to be discussed at initial meeting) the day rate for my services is £75
