My Summary
About Me
I’m a warm, dependable, and enthusiastic individual currently studying medicine, with a strong passion for caring for others—especially children. My background in both healthcare and education has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and active listening. I’m first aid qualified through St John Ambulance and naturally take on a calm, reassuring presence in any environment. I’m also highly organised, adaptable, and always approach responsibilities with a caring and thoughtful mindset.
My Experience
I have hands-on experience working with children across various settings. As a nursery practitioner at Abacus Nursery School, I supported early years development through play and structured activities. My voluntary work with the St Quintin Centre for Disabled Children and as a Compassionate Neighbour gave me valuable experience engaging with children of different ages and needs, building strong, trusting relationships. Additionally, I have experience in various hospital work experiences, including a paediatric, neonatal, and maternity ward. These roles, alongside my academic background, have equipped me with the practical and emotional skills needed to provide attentive, safe, and nurturing care as a nanny.
My Qualifications
I am currently studying medicine at university and hold a valid Enhanced DBS check, ensuring I am fully cleared to work with children. Academically, I achieved 11 GCSEs (grades 7–9) and completed A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology (grades A- A*), which support my strong understanding of child development and well-being. I am also trained in first aid through St John Ambulance and have completed safeguarding training. These qualifications, combined with my experience, reflect my commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children.
