My Requirements

We’re looking for a kind and experienced childminder to help with short-term care for our toddler during the lead-up to and around the time of our new baby’s birth.

Our ideal plan includes:

A 1-hour settling-in session with mum nearby so our toddler can get used to the environment.

Followed by a 2–4 hour session where he stays on his own to build comfort and routine.

On the day of the delivery, we’d need to leave our toddler in your care from morning until evening. The exact timing may vary, and we’ll keep you updated as the situation becomes clearer.

While we hope it will just be a one-day arrangement, there is a possibility of needing care for an additional day or two if mum is required to stay longer in the hospital.

The planned c-section date is already scheduled, but there's always a chance things could happen earlier depending on how the pregnancy progresses. We're hoping to work with someone understanding and flexible who’s comfortable with this kind of short-notice support.
